shaping the future together
The renovated storehouse will serve as a versatile community venue and immersive museum, blending modern amenities with exhibits and experiences that celebrate Ludlow’s rich railway heritage.

Once renovated, the storehouse will become a unique venue for community gatherings, private events, and organizational meetings-combining historic ambiance with modern amenities. Exhibits can be moved from the upstairs viewing area to the basement for safekeeping, allowing the main exhibit space to accommodate up to 125 guests. The south face of the building will feature advanced audio-visual systems, ideal for presentations and events.
Events & Meetings

The restored storehouse will feature exhibits on railway history, restoration, and transportation technology, fostering appreciation for Ludlow's heritage. Visitors can take guided or audio tours, interact with staff, or explore independently. With insights from historians on architecture, the Civil war, and railway preservation, the museum offers rich context. Live demonstrations with a working diesel locomotive, a 1971 Bay Window Caboose, and a postwar passenger car, along with costumed interpreters portraying engineering's and porters, bring America's railroad stories to life
